All of the products featured on this hop will be available for purchase on September 1st, so contact your demonstrator if you would like to purchase some of these products.

I am featuring the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set (p. 24). This stamp set has a matching punch (p. 25) and matching Movers & Shapers die (p. 7).

P1050391 copyMy first project is a Christmas Card. I thought I would start with a project that uses the stamps just as they are…Ornaments

Stamps: Delightful Decorations; Teeny Tiny Wishes

Ink: Bermuda Bay & Melon Mambo Classic Ink

Paper: Whisper White, Soft Suede & Melon Mambo Cardstock; Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper

Accessories: Silver Elastic Cord; Silver Eyelets

Tools Used: Big Shot; Stampin’ Up Perfect Details Texturz Plates; Ornament, Scallop Oval, Large Oval & Scallop Edge Punches; Crop-A-Dile

P1050390 copyFor my second project I tried to start thinking out of the box with this stamp set. When you turn this stamp upside down it looks kind of like a little snow globe. The polka dots look like snow. It is hard to see but the front of this card has an ornament shaped cut-out and the snow globe is actually mounted on the inside of the card.

Stamps: Delightful Decorations

Ink: Bashful Blue & Old Olive Classic Ink; Whisper White Craft Ink

Paper: Old Olive, Brocade Blue & Whisper White Cardstock
Accessories: Silver Elastic Cord; Whisper White 1/4” Grosgrain Ribbon; 1” Circle Holder (Hodgepodge Hardware); Small Clear Rhinestone Brads, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Tools Used: Big Shot; Stampin’ Up Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates; Stampin’ Up Holiday Windows Movers & Shapers die with Movers & Shapers Bigz XL die; 1” Circle, 3/4” Circle, & Ornament Punches

P1050393 copy For my third project I really wanted to think outside of the box. I wanted to try to see if I could come up with a way to use this stamp set & punch for something other than Christmas. My mom suggested that the ornaments might make great flower petals. So this is what I came up with. Aren’t these flowers adorable.

Stamps: Delightful Decorations

Ink: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, & Soft Suede Classic Ink

Paper: Whisper White & Certainly Celery Cardstock; Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper

Accessories: Large Clear Rhinestone Brads

Tools Used: Big Shot; Stampin’ Up Baskets & Blooms Bigz XL die; Stampin’ Up Little Leaves Sizzlits die; Ornament & 3/4” Circle Punches

The flowers were going to be my last project but when I showed my projects to my parents yesterday, my dad commented that the Ornament looked like a little fish. So I just had to try to make one. So here he is:

P1050389 copyIsn’t he cute. Good thinking Dad! I put him on a box I cut out with the big shot. I think these would be great party favors for a kids birthday party. Especially if you filled the box with gummy worms.

Ink: Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry & Garden Green Cardstock; Bashful Blue Textured Cardstock

Accessories: Silver Eyelets

Tools Used: Big Shot; Box #2 Bigz XL Die; Ornament & 5-Petal Flower Punches; Crop-A-Dile

Well I hope you enjoyed your stop here. Make sure you continue on to Cheryl’s blog to see what she has done with Merry & Bright and Icicles Rub-ons. If you would like to chat with any of the people on the blog hop, hop on over to the Blog Hop chat thread at Stampin’ Addicts.
